The dental sector has a significant impact on plastic waste production, with an estimated consumption of 28 tons of plastic per year, including packaging, surgical guides, models, and temporary restorations. Idi Evolution, an Italian company operating in the field of dental implantology and related technology, has developed a project aimed at making its 1,700 clients' dental practices circular by 2025. Thanks to its partnership with Supernovas, the project will transform plastic waste into new products useful to those practices.
