*COOKIE POLICY - Pursuant to provision of the Privacy Guarantor no. 231 of 10 June 2021*.
This site uses technical/functional, analytical, and profiling cookies to optimize user navigation and the usability of the site itself; to collect statistical data on site viewing, improving its indexing; and to create user profiles to track their behavior on this site or other websites for targeted advertising purposes.
1) INTRODUCTION: WHAT ARE COOKIES?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device while you are visiting it. The information encoded in cookies may include personal data, such as an IP address, username, unique identifier, or email address, but they may also contain non-personal data, such as language settings or information about the type of device a user is using to navigate the site. Cookies can perform a variety of important functions, including session tracking, storing information about specific configurations of users accessing the server, facilitating the use of online content, etc. The same result can also be achieved through the use of other tools (e.g., fingerprinting, a technique that allows the device used by the user to be identified by collecting all or some of the information relating to the specific device configuration adopted by the data subject), which allow for processing similar to that described above.
1.1) Classification of cookies
Cookies and other tracking tools may have different characteristics in terms of time, subjectivity, or functionality:
- Persistent cookies They are stored on the user's computer and are not automatically deleted when the browser is closed, unlike session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed. Session cookies consist of random numbers generated by the server to enable safe and efficient browsing of the site;
- First-party cookies These are cookies created by the website the user is visiting: only that website can read them. A website may also use external services that create their own cookies, called third-party cookies;
- Technical cookies They are required by some computer systems and are necessary for the proper functioning of some web pages. Consent is not required for these cookies;
- Statistics cookies they are used to facilitate navigation on the site, improve its usability and identify the contents of greatest interest to users;
- Profiling cookies They are used to trace specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the features offered back to specific, identified or identifiable individuals. This is done to group different profiles into homogeneous clusters of varying sizes. This allows us to tailor the service provision in an increasingly personalized manner, beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as send targeted advertising messages, i.e., in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet.
2) OWNERSHIP OF THE PROCESSING
Pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, data processing using cookies will be based on the principles of necessity, proportionality, lawfulness, and transparency, protecting your privacy and rights. For data processing carried out through this website, with or without the use of cookies, the data controller is IDI Evolution Srl (hereinafter also "IDI Evolution"), with registered office at Largo Esterle, 4 - 20900 Monza (MB), VAT and Tax ID No. 03221450962 – email: info@idievolution.it. To ensure its organization's ongoing compliance with the GDPR, IDI Evolution has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at privacy@idievolution.it.
3) TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED
By installing cookies on the user's device, IDI Evolution collects personal identifying data. Specifically, MAC and IP addresses, the domain names of the devices used by users, the URI/URL addresses of requested resources, and metadata such as the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment are collected and recorded.
4) PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF DATA PROCESSING USING COOKIES
The use of first-party technical and analytical cookies does not require the user to provide any express and specific consent, given their function and nature. However, with regard to third-party analytical cookies (anonymized or otherwise) and profiling cookies, the user is asked for prior consent [Art. 6.1 letter a)] via the banner that automatically appears when opening the web page. This site uses both technical/functional cookies, as well as analytical and profiling cookies, including third-party cookies, for the following purposes:
- optimize user navigation and usability of the site itself;
- to collect statistical data on site viewing, improving its indexing;
- to create user profiles, to track user behavior on this site or other websites for targeted advertising purposes.
4.1) Social platforms
IDI Evolution manages, primarily for informational and promotional purposes, some pages opened on the main social networks:
Of these, two can be accessed via the icon on this website, idievolution.it, located at the top right of each screen. When accessing these social media pages, the managers of each social network collect users' personal data through cookies installed on the social media page itself for statistical purposes, as well as for user analysis and profiling. Although this data is not collected directly by IDI Evolution, it remains the joint data controller for the portion of data processed by the social media manager and accessible to the page administrator for the purpose of optimizing the individual social media page managed. You can consult the respective privacy and cookie policies of the social media managers and find out how to limit the use of unnecessary cookies. Interaction with the aforementioned social media pages is permitted only to users registered with the relevant social network. In accordance with the relevant terms and conditions of use, users remain solely responsible for any content posted or published, as well as for any personal data thus made accessible to other users of the social network, including the company, as administrator of the commented pages, which therefore declines any liability in this regard.

This transfer outside the European Union will be fully regulated by a new adequacy decision that the European Commission will issue pursuant to Article 45 of the GDPR in response to the new executive order [EO] issued by the US President as a result of the international agreement signed in March 2022 between the US Government and the European Commission. The text of the agreement is available here: Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework. Until then, and given the recent rulings of the Italian Data Protection Authority regarding the inadequacy of standard contractual clauses and the additional measures adopted by Google Ireland (exporter) pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR and EDPB Guidelines No. 1/2020, respectively, to protect the transmission and storage to Google LLC (importer located in the USA) of personal data of users of this site collected through analytics cookies, the Google Analytics service is temporarily suspended pending regulatory clarification.
